Ontario online gambling revenue reaches CA$307 million in June
Summary
Online gambling revenue in Ontario totalled CA$307 million (US$226 million) in June 2025. That figure was up 27.9% on June last year but below May’s record CA$338 million.
iGaming Ontario data shows online casino revenue made up CA$243 million of the total, a 41% year-on-year rise. Sports betting revenue fell 7.9% year-on-year to CA$58 million, while internet poker climbed 12.5% to CA$5.4 million.
Players wagered CA$7.26 billion in June, 21.4% higher than the same month last year but about 10% down on May’s CA$8.07 billion. There were one million active online gambling accounts in June, 20.9% more than a year earlier and slightly fewer than in May. Average revenue per active player rose 5.9% to around CA$303 (down from about CA$316 in May).
