Global fixed broadband subscribers will grow by 18% to be close to 1.6 billion by 2030, according to an updated forecast from Point Topic. This is interesting because, as expected growth rates across North America and Europe are predicted to be the slowest, but the fixed broadband take-up in the Middle East & Africa and in Latin America will grow at significant rates (53% and 33% respectively).
